Ceger in your hands!

NGO “North Land” from Berane and NGO “Civic Youth Initiative” from Rozaje are starting the implementation of the project “Ceger in your hands!”, which was created with the intention of promoting the use of cotton bags in everyday shopping and working to advocate for harmful use of plastic bags. Not only because of the negative impact on the environment and biodiversity, but also because of the fact that plastic is primarily produced from oil, which is a limited resource.
The general goal of the project is to improve the quality of the environment in Berane and Rozaje, by establishing the principle of reducing the amount of waste at the source and reusing products, while its specific goal is to improve the awareness of students and citizens by promoting the use of cotton bags, through planned activities: education, procurement and distribution of cegers and media campaign.
The project is funded by the Ministry of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Urbanism for 2021.
