It will be composted in Berane and Rozaje

NGO “North Land” from Berane and NGO “Civic Youth Initiative” from Rozaje through the project “Compost – profit!” will take the first step towards this – a stronger awareness of the economic value of composting. They will train interested farmers to compost and help them establish a composting process on their farms. Based on this example of good practice, a model of composting biodegradable household waste, applicable and beyond, will be created.
The general goal of the project is to improve the quality of the environment in Berane and Rozaje, by introducing a biodegradable waste management system, and the specific goal of the project is to improve the awareness of agricultural producers, local government representatives and citizens by promoting the composting system campaign.
The project is funded by the Ministry of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Urbanism for 2021.
