Chess tournaments for better integration of PWD into society

This weekend, a simultaneous match with the IBCA World Paralympic Chess Champion for the Visually Impaired, Predrag Nikač, was held in Podgorica.
Participants were students of chess clubs from Berane, Plav, Petnjica, Rozaje, Andrijevica and Podgorica.
After the simultaneous match, chess boards for blind and partially sighted people were distributed to Podgorica chess clubs: Zora, October 7 and Budućnost, as well as the Paralympic Committee of Montenegro, Resource Center for Children and Youth, Podgorica, and Radovan Džuver, a young successful chess player, with impaired sight.
SC „7. October ”from Podgorica also received software for blind and partially sighted people, which will facilitate the work of the Club with children and youth with impaired sight.
We note that recently, chess clubs from Berane, Plav, Petnjica, Rožaje and Andrijevica also received a chessboard and software intended for blind and partially sighted people through this project.
