Tourist and cultural route of Berane

This project includes numerous activities aimed at different actors that can contribute to raising awareness of the importance of tourism for the development of the city. In this direction, already in the coming months, workshops will be organized for owners of rural households and restaurateurs, as well as educational seminars for tourism workers from the territory of the municipalities of Berane and Andrijevica. In addition, a study visit to selected locations will be organized, during which journalists and influencers from Montenegro will be able to familiarize themselves with the tourist offer of Beran. After this visit, a competition for the best story that promotes Berane will be held.
Recognizing the importance of the efforts made by employees in cultural institutions, through the project it will be possible for some of the representatives of these institutions to attend a seminar where they will be able to design an innovative media plan, in order to present their activities to a wider audience in an interesting way and thereby interest them in visiting Berane. .
The Beran Tourist-Cultural Route project will last ten months, and it is planned that 15 tourist workers, 20 owners of rural households and restaurateurs and 10 representatives of institutions dealing with the cultural heritage of Beran will go through the training programs.
