It is important to compost!

Through the project “Berane composts!” organizations, NGO “North Land” and NGO “Agroturist Biro – Berane” will take the first step towards that – greater awareness of the importance of composting to protect plants, ie, preventing the spread of diseases caused by pests. They will train interested farmers to compost and help them establish a composting process on their farms. Based on this example of good practice, a model of composting plant waste from the household will be created, applicable and beyond.
The project is funded by the Directorate for Food Safety, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Affairs for 2021.
