The project Smoking cigarettes is not my choice is realized by the funds of the Commission of the Government of Montenegro for the allocation of revenue from games of chance for 2016.
The overall objective of the project is to educate school children about the harmful effects of smoking on health, creating a dependence on tobacco, tobacco industries claim a special impact on young people, encouraged to explore themselves how much smoking is still present in our surrounding.
Specific objectives:
1.1 To educate students VI to IX grades of elementary school about the harmful effects of smoking cigarettes.
1.2 Prevent smoking among young people and to protect the health of young people.
The achievement of specific goals will contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the areas covered by the project, but also facilitate the creation of contacts at different levels and sectors by encouraging cooperation in the field of education and the fight against abuse. The project aims to create new mechanisms of cooperation to constantly inform students and citizens on issues related to the fight against addiction, as well as better participation of citizens in this area.
The target groups of the project are pupils from VI to IX grade primary school, their parents and citizens.
The project will be implemented for seven months, in Berane, Andrijevica and Petnjica.
