NEW IPARD PUBLIC CALL FOR PROCESSING SUPPORT PUBLISHED

NGO North Land from Berane and NGO Center for Rural Development from Petnjica want to inform all interested legal entities (micro, small, medium and large) businesses, as well as cooperatives that Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has issued an IPARD public invitation for processing, worth € 15.6 million in grants.
Through a new IPARD processing call, interested applicants can compete with projects, with eligible costs ranging from € 40,000 to € 1,500,000, while support is up to 50% of eligible costs. Additional support of 10% may be allocated to the part of the eligible / approved costs related to waste management, by-products, wastewater treatment and waste management. Support is obtained after the entire investment is realized.
The subject of investment may be the construction, reconstruction or equipping of facilities for receiving and processing products, procurement of equipment, mechanization, arrangement of infrastructure at the production unit, investments in the construction, reconstruction or equipping of plants for the production of energy from renewable sources, the introduction of food safety systems and product quality management .
Support is granted for the processing of agricultural and fishery products, for which specific criteria have been set, that is, the conditions that potential support beneficiaries must satisfy in order to receive support through this public call.
Depending on the processing sector, users must have:
Milk processing sector:
– minimum daily processing capacity of 500 l of milk;
Meat Processing Sector:
– slaughterhouses with a minimum daily slaughter capacity (8 working hours) of ten head of cattle or 20 heads of pigs or 30 heads of sheep or goats or 3,000 poultry;
– meat processing with a minimum annual processing capacity of 10 t;
Wine production sector:
– a minimum capacity of 2,000 l of wine per year;
Fruit and vegetable processing sector (including cereals, mushrooms, mushrooms, aromatic and medicinal plants):
– fruit and vegetable processing plants registered in appropriate registers in accordance with the law.
Olive processing sector:
– a minimum processing capacity of 500 kg;
Fish and Aquaculture Processing Sector:
– Minimum annual processing capacity of 5 t.
The application deadline is November 4, 2019.
All required application forms can be downloaded from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development website, as well as the IPARD program website – www.ipard.gov.me. The forms can also be got from the offices of the Department of Counseling in Livestock and Plant Production.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development will organize presentations so that interested parties can be informed about the possibility of using the funds.
