Campaign “Every can counts”, implemented by the NGO “North Land” in Montenegro this year, was realized for the first time at the Motorijada and Thunder fest in Berane.
“Moto meeting”, a two-day festival organized by the Moto Club “Sokolovi” from Berane, took place on 13 and 14 July in the area of the former Pulp and paper factory, and Thunder fest, organized by the Tourism Organization, traditionally at Berane Airport, on 28 and 29 July, both funded by Berane Municipality.
“Every can counts”, is a partnership between cans manufacturers, beverage manufacturers, recycling industries and environmental organizations, whose main goal is to promote benefits for the entire company from the selection and recycling of cans.
Activists of North Land promoted campaigns and animated visitors to both events, and in cooperation with NGO “Ozon” from Niksic, with which they have many years of successful cooperation.
The campaign is launched in England, it is also being implemented in Serbia, Ireland, Austria, Hungary, Romania, France, Scotland, Greece and other countries, and since 2013 it has been implemented in Montenegro, where a large number of activities have been realized so far.
