Project “Knowledge and Cooperation to the UN Sustainable Development Goals” implemented by the NGO North Land with two high schools, “Panto Mališić” from Berane and “30. September” from Rožaje. The media partner of the project is Radio Berane. This project is implemented with the grants received through the SEEDLING program of the Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe. This program is financed by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA).

The main objective of the project is to contribute to the introduction of the UN goals of sustainable development in secondary schools by improving the knowledge and skills of teachers and students and creating partnerships among various social actors.

The realization of all planned project activities is expected to improve the level of knowledge about the three UN goals of sustainable development (3rd goal – HEALTH AND WELLNESS, 4th goal – QUALITY EDUCATION, 5th goal – GENDER EQUALITY) in secondary schools in Berane and Rozaje, the level of awareness of the professor on the importance of education for sustainable development, practical examples through planned activities to indicate the pupils the importance of “green” entrepreneurship in order to create new, sustainable jobs, and promoting healthy lifestyles, that will lead to the prevention of bad habits among young people (tobacco consumption, narcotics and alcohol), and consequently to improving the quality of their health.
